Ladies' Day

Think Calendar Girls or Dinner Ladies and you're in the right area! Ladies' Day was developed under the wing of the respected Hull Truck Theatre Company, so if you like their work you'll love this!

Work, love and life are one long hard slog for Yorkshire lassies and fish factory workers, Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda. 

This all changes for at least one day when the women decide to try and get in to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot on the occasion of its move 'oop North' to York for one year whilst Ascot Racecourse is being redeveloped.

Work overalls and hairnets are replaced by posh frocks and hats as the intrepid foursome manage to 'acquire' tickets and set themselves fair for a drink, a flirt and a flutter...but things don't turn out quite as they expect.
